Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to join our UK-based team. The successful candidate will be a competent and reliable engineer with proven experience in servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing industrial doors and loading bay products.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial door systems
Carry out routine inspections and fault assessments on door systems
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely
Work closely with clients to understand and meet their requirements
Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and industry standards
Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues when required
Complete accurate service reports and maintain records of work carried out
Keep up to date with industry developments, products, and best practices

Requirements

Proven experience as an Industrial Door Engineer or in a similar role
Strong technical knowledge of industrial door systems and associated equipment
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Familiarity with industry safety regulations and procedures

Essential Criteria

Full UK driving licence (applicants must be over 21 for insurance purposes)
Fluent English language skills
Authorised to work in the United Kingdom
Ability to work on-site/in person

Desirable Qualifications

The following certifications/cards would be advantageous:

CSCS
PASMA
IPAF
