Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 Operator to join our construction team in GU1. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to assist with various earthmoving and site preparation tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, experience with excavators, and the ability to undertake commercial driving duties when necessary. The position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on prominent projects within the area.

Responsibilities

Operate 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently across diverse construction sites.
Assist with earthmoving, grading, and site clearance activities in accordance with project specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with site managers and other operatives to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
Drive commercial vehicles as required for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Skills

Proven mechanical knowledge relevant to excavator operation and maintenance.
Valid certification and experience operating a 360-degree excavator.
Experience in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence suitable for operating large vehicles.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing site conditions and work under pressure. This role is ideal for motivated individuals with a solid background in plant operation and construction site logistics, seeking a rewarding position within a reputable company in GU1.
