Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative (Llanelli-Based)

Location: Llanelli (South Wales – regional travel required)

About the Role

T&M Group Ltd is seeking a professional and dependable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team, based from our Llanelli depot.

The role involves delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across South Wales, including:

Industrial and commercial sites
Schools and educational facilities
High-end and sensitive environments requiring precision, care, and discretion

This is a standards-driven role, where quality of finish, reliability, and professional conduct are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Grass cutting using both pedestrian and ride-on mowing equipment
Strimming, edging, and detailed finishing works
Maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented external areas
Working to site-specific RAMS and health & safety requirements
Operating professionally within schools, public-facing, and sensitive sites
Daily pre-use checks and basic maintenance of equipment
Reporting hazards, defects, and site issues to management

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and consistently delivers a high-quality finish, particularly in environments where presentation matters.

Essential Requirements

Experience in grounds maintenance or similar outdoor role
Competent using grass cutting and landscaping equipment
Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel from Llanelli base)
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team

Desirable

Experience working on schools, commercial estates, or secure sites
PA1 / PA6 spraying qualifications
CSCS card
Experience using commercial-grade ride-on and pedestrian machinery

Personal Attributes

High attention to detail and pride in work
Professional attitude when working on occupied or sensitive sites
Ability to work with care, discretion, and respect for environments
Strong work ethic with a “right first time” approach
