Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at Monson Motor Factors Ltd in Lincoln

Would be beneficial to have some experience within the motor trade but not essential.

Working hours

Monday - Friday - 9.00 to 17.30 with a 30 minute lunch break

Saturdays - 8.30 to 12.30 working on rota

Key duties will include, but will not be limited to;

Actively building rapport with customers face to face and over the telephone
Ability to understand the customers needs and knowledge of available products to ensure all required parts and additional accessories are offered
Encouraging sales of parts and accessories whenever possible
Quoting prices and availability of stock
Van deliveries
Working with the warehouse team to ensure pre-picking of orders is carried out to schedule
Use of specialised software within the motor trade
Maintain a professional manner and high standards of personal presentation at all times

Requirements and prospects Desired skills

Must have the following skills:

Clean driving licence (Van deliveries)
Good communication skills
Work well in a team environment
Work well in a fast paced environment
Must be able to build customer relationships
Ability to learn
Be able to pay attention to detail
Good standard of maths
Good standard of computer skills

Training is supplied on the job, but a back ground within the motor trade is essential, a longer term aim of developing a bigger sales role within the company will be available for the right candidate.

Personal qualities

Must have the following attributes:

Presentable
Ability to work on own initiative
Approachable
Good communication skills

Desired qualifications

Good standard of Maths and English
Driving Licence
