Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics & Inventory Controller. This role is essential in managing the smooth flow of goods entering and leaving our facility. You will be responsible for handling incoming deliveries, stock controller, coordinating shipments, and ensuring all documentation is correctly processed. There will also be opportunities to help with administrative task.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods Inward: Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, check for damages, and verify against purchase orders.
Stock Control: Accurately log stock movements and maintain inventory records.
Shipping: Prepare, package, and arrange shipments to customers or suppliers while ensuring timely dispatch.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of received and dispatched goods, including invoices, delivery notes, and stock logs.
Coordination: Work closely with production, admin, engineering and procurement teams to streamline operations.
Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Problem-Solving: Address any delivery discrepancies and liaise with suppliers to resolve issues.
Key Skills & Experience:
Attention to detail for accurate goods-in/out and stock records
Organisation & time management to handle deliveries, dispatches, and priorities
Clear communication with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams
Problem‑solving for discrepancies, missing items, and shipping issues
Basic IT skills for ERP/stock systems, spreadsheets, and documentation
Process discipline to follow compliance, traceability, and safety procedures
