SENIOR CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT

Are you an experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant looking for a new challenge? Join our close-knit, friendly team at Milners’ Harrogate branch where we foster a collaborative and supportive environment. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Conveyancing Assistant to provide exceptional support to our conveyancing team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our valued clients.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting conveyancers with the management of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and third parties to ensure the timely progression of cases.
Drafting legal documents, including contracts and other relevant paperwork.
Conducting legal searches and obtaining necessary information for property transactions.
Preparing files for completion.
Handling a busy caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and all actions are taken in accordance with the client’s instructions.
Assisting junior members of the team, providing guidance and support where needed.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records.

About you:

A proven track record as a Conveyancing Assistant with at least 1 year's of experience.
In-depth knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and documentation.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
Experience of using case management systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
A positive attitude and a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
