Full job description

Priory Junior School is a busy, vibrant environment with friendly, supportive staff who work together to support the children in their care. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and hands-on Caretaker to ensure our premises remain safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained. The post holder is required to live on site with a subsidised rental property for this purpose.

This role includes maintenance, cleaning and security duties and will ideally suit a hard-working person with some handyperson experience! The ability to work as part of a team, supervise the cleaning team, liaise with contractors, and to be flexible is essential. Other duties include opening/locking up the school and liaising with external contractors when on-site.

Visits to the school are welcome or a phone appointment can be made should there be further questions about the role.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and medical clearance. Priory Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff to share this commitment.
