Key Accountabilities

Reporting to Brownfield Team Associate/Technical Director.
Basic understanding of geological, geotechnical, and brownfield risks.
Delivery of projects:
Basic financial and project management awareness (understanding project finances and working to a budget).
Supervise ground investigations and undertake remediation and earthworks validation works.
Undertake soil sampling and ground gas / groundwater monitoring.
Prepare Phase 1 & 2 reports.
Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other project/business stakeholders.
Provide technical and operational support to the wider Ayesa business including Brownfield North and South Teams.

What you will bring

BSc and/or MSc in Geology/Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Hydrogeology/Environmental Sciences.
Ideally have relevant experience (up to 2 years), but recent graduates also considered.
An awareness of UK standards.
Clean Full UK Driving Licence.
Excellent communication skills.
Keen to learn and improve on technical and report writing skills.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with senior management, clients, and regulators.
Basic technical understanding of brownfield engineering and contaminated land.
Demonstrate an ability to understand complex problems.
Can effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships, always aiming to exceed client expectations.
Excellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget.
