To support the work of East District's Wildlife Ranger team delivering forest protection and habitat conservation objectives.

This post may require travel throughout the district but the successful applicant will primarily be based at our Santon Downham office, IP27 0TJ

This role is funded by DEFRA rather than through Forestry England generated revenue, and is therefore subject to government spending reviews. In the event of funding changes, we would prioritise retaining staff posts wherever possible. This approach is consistent for roles within publicly funded organisations.
