Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. We are looking for someone that possesses a strong background in patient care and medicine management, with experience in community settings preferred.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a community pharmacy setting, where candidates can contribute significantly to patient wellbeing through precise medication processes and NHS services. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals alike. A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy is essential.

Duties

Provide comprehensive medication counselling to patients, ensuring they understand dosage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Clinically check prescriptions on TITAN system for dispensing and accuracy checking.
Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient histories, and medication inventories.
Provide NHS services to our community (incentivised).
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

Qualified Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Proven experience in a clinical pharmacy environment.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology, and medication administration protocols.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to manage medication inventories efficiently and accurately.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
