Full job description

We are an established and trusted property maintenance company based in Grimsby, providing a wide range of repair, maintenance and refurbishment services to residential and commercial clients.

Due to continued growth we are now looking for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Operative, with strong painting and decorating skills, to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in general building works and plastering, who also has practical maintenance skills and enjoys varied work.

Key Responsibilities

Painting and decorating to a high, consistent standard
Plaster patching and making good prior to decoration
Basic plumbing repairs (taps, minor leaks, small fixes)
Gardening and grounds maintenance where required
Minor repairs and general property upkeep
Maintaining tidy, professional work areas
Managing your workload independently and efficiently

Experience Required

Strong painting and decorating experience
Trade background or time -served property maintenance experience within the social housing or private sector
Ability to carry out plaster patching and making good
Practical basic plumbing skills and general maintenance ability
Comfortable with gardening and grounds maintenance tasks
Reliable, self‑motivated, and organised
Good communication and professional manner
Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

NVQ level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade
CSCS Card
