We're looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our KierBAM team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Location: Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours: 42.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks. Eligibility criteria: Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and BAM Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. As a Procurement Administrator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our procurement team, ensuring the smooth running of operations and maintaining excellent communication channels. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your organisational skills and attention to detail will make a real difference to the success of this significant project.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Procurement Administrator, you'll be working within the procurement team, supporting them in delivering efficient and compliant procurement operations. Your day to day will include:
- Managing the project supply chain database, including updates and new supplier information
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation with accuracy
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of procurement documents
- Maintaining accurate records of communications, contracts, and transactions
- Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries and support smooth operations
What are we looking for?
This role of Procurement Administrator is great for you if:
- You have proven experience in a procurement administration or similar role
- You possess excellent organisational and communication skills with attention to detail
- You're proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team
- You hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years (required for security clearance)
