Please note that this role is not suitable for students home from university for the summer or those seeking a short-term job.

We are committed to offering permanent roles with opportunities for professional development.

The Annex Tapas Bar and Restaurant, The Malthouse & The Yard Bar are seeking a Team Leader with experience to expand our team and increase our opening hours. You will need to be able to perform in a busy restaurant & bar in Tavistock.

We are open size days per week, We would consider a job share. Please note that we operate on a weekly rota, and weekend work is expected.

We are looking to elevate our offerings, so we prefer experienced individuals; however, training is provided for specific service and drink offerings. This is a permanent role, and working daytime and evening shifts is a requirement.

Duties & skills to include, but not limited to:

Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in your role.
Have the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
Have a friendly nature and the ability to develop good communication skills.
Be honest, trustworthy and respectful.
Remain calm when working in a fast-paced environment.
Receive regular feedback from the management team and implement any agreed-upon actions.

Strive to achieve company goals and action plans.
Provide excellent customer service.
Serve food and drinks to the correct standard.
Maintain a clean & safe work environment.

Essential requirements:

Be aged 18 years or older

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£14.00 per hour

Travel: Are you able arrive before 9am for a daytime shift, and able to leave after 9.30pm in the evening?
How many shifts/ hours are you looking for? 20 -30 hours (3 shifts) / 30+, 4 or 5 shifts per week. (including weekends)?

Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
