Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Self Employed Physiotherapist to provide specialised patient care in our clinic with potential for occasional home visits. The successful candidate will deliver tailored physiotherapy services, utilise their extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, and contribute to improving clients' mobility and overall well-being. This role offers flexibility for self-employment while maintaining high standards of professional practice, particularly in hospital and paediatric environments.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed examinations and develop personalised treatment plans.
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions to optimise recovery, mobility, and pain management.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, especially in hospital settings or specialised paediatric units.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques and healthcare regulations.
- Manage your own schedule effectively to accommodate patient appointments and follow-up sessions.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- 3 years of proven experience working within hospital environments is highly desirable.
- Post-graduate experience of working in MSK speciality essential
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a self-employed practitioner while maintaining professional registration standards.
- Prior experience or familiarity with working in diverse clinical settings is preferred but not essential. Pay: £20.00-£40.00 per hour
