Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation and administration of medications, providing guidance to patients on proper usage.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including inventory management and stock control.
Compliance:Adhering to health and safety requirements, company policies, and procedures, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering advice on over-the-counter medications.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Professionalism:Working within the limits of one's knowledge and referring appropriate queries to the pharmacist.

Skills

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with pharmacy operations.
Proficient in medication administration, with a keen understanding of various pharmaceutical products.
Strong commitment to patient care, showcasing empathy and effective communication skills.
Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing prescriptions accurately.
