We are looking for a motivated and values-driven Service Coordinator to join our team at Forestview, supporting adults with complex needs to live safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
This is a central role within the service, focused on ensuring high-quality, person-centred support while maintaining strong standards of compliance, documentation, and day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the Service Manager to lead the team, model best practice, and ensure the service remains safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
Forestview is a warm, stable, and values-led service where kindness, dignity, and respect are at the heart of everything we do. We support adults with a range of complex needs, including physical disabilities, communication needs, and health-related support.
People we support play an active role in shaping their care and choosing their staff, and we focus on meaningful activity, community engagement, and improving overall quality of life.
“We like staff who are kind, patient and make us feel safe.”
— People we support at Forestview
About the Role
As Service Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day operational leadership across the service, ensuring that support is consistently delivered to a high standard and in line with Milestones Trust values. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and Trust policies, as well as leading on audits, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
A big part of the role involves supporting the development of the team through coaching, mentoring, and reflective practice, while also building strong relationships with families, professionals, and the people we support. You will champion meaningful activity, independence, and positive risk-taking, ensuring that each person’s quality of life is continually improved.
About You
You will bring experience from adult social care, ideally supporting people with complex needs, along with a solid understanding of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), and CQC expectations. You’ll be confident leading shifts, supporting team performance, and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm, compassionate, and clear under pressure. Above all, you will be committed to person-centred practice and values-based leadership.
We are committed to helping you succeed and grow in your role. You will receive a full induction with shadowing, ongoing training in key areas such as medication, safeguarding, MCA, and PBS, as well as opportunities to complete Level 5 qualifications. Regular supervision, reflective practice, and leadership development are all part of our supportive management approach, alongside a strong and collaborative team culture.
Here at Milestones Trust we recognise that without the hard work, commitment and passion of our staff, we wouldn’t be the charity we are today. That’s why we are committed to rewarding you with a competitive pay and benefits package including:
- 34 days’ annual leave, including recognised public holidays
- Learning and development to support your career growth
- Nationally recognised qualifications, from entry level care to management
- Flexible working, with rotas provided in advance
- Occupational Sick Pay after two years, increasing with service
- Health Cash Plan after probation, offering at least £695 cashback for health treatments (dental, optical, therapies, maternity/paternity, prescriptions)
- Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
- Free enhanced DBS check
- Dayforce Wallet, giving you access to your earnings before payday
- Employee referral scheme with financial rewards
- Employee Assistance Programme from day one, offering confidential 24/7 support
- Company pension scheme to help grow your retirement savings
