Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Joiner/Multi-skilled tradesperson to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks across various construction and maintenance projects, demonstrating expertise in carpentry, fabrication, and other trades. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad skill set within a supportive environment, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a proactive attitude and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install bespoke joinery components using hand tools and power tools
Execute carpentry tasks including roofing, framing, and finishing works with precision
Perform general construction duties such as masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting as required
Carry out heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely around the site
Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any faults promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to construction trades
Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting is desirable
Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or construction trades are advantageous
A proactive approach to learning new skills and adapting to different project requirements
Valid UK driving licence is essential
Own van
