Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Preschool Teacher to join our early years team. The successful candidate will be passionate about nurturing young children, fostering their development, and creating a safe, engaging and inspiring learning environment.
As a Christian preschool, our curriculum is firmly rooted in biblical values and learning. We believe that children should encounter God's love through their everyday experiences, and our teaching naturally incorporates biblical themes, Bible stories and Christian values throughout play, exploration and daily learning. We are therefore looking for someone who is supportive of our Christian ethos and willing to confidently incorporate biblical teaching into all aspects of the curriculum.
We are looking for a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic teacher who takes pride in their work and is able to use their own initiative. The successful candidate will take ownership of their classroom, creating a well-organised, engaging and welcoming learning environment where children can flourish. We value individuals who are creative, self-motivated and confident in bringing new ideas to the setting while working collaboratively with the wider team.
Excellent organisation and time management are essential. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented classroom, ensure all learning resources are prepared in advance, and have engaging activities fully set up before children arrive each day, creating a calm and stimulating environment from the start of every session.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while working within a supportive and faith-centred environment.
