Combined Medical Services Ltd are seeking to appoint already qualified Ambulance Care Assistants to join our team. The role of the Ambulance Care Assistant involves the transportation of non–urgent patients to and from health/social care premises and private residences. This is a responsible role which requires a professional, caring attitude and teamwork.
Ambulance Care Assistants provide a friendly and compassionate presence during the patient journey and offer support and guidance to the patient's appointment. This role would suit someone who is caring, passionate and enjoys interacting with patients and service-users.
As part of our safe recruitment process, please ensure you meet the criteria below:
- Category B full UK manual driving licence with 12 months driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points
- Hold either a current recognised Ambulance Care Assistant qualification, current First Aid at Work (3 day) qualification or a current First Response Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC3) qualification
- Physically fit and capable of assisting patients with various mobility needs
- Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
- Motivated, enthusiastic and engaging
- An effective communicator
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible approach to working patterns due to the nature of our work, including weekends. There will be opportunities to work additional hours
- Must be over 21 years old, for insurance purposes only
