Duties:
- Perform various manual labour tasks to support construction and maintenance projects
- Excavation works
- Setting kerbs and edgings
- Setting of all necessary SUDS drainage
- Installation of DDA compliant ramps and handrails
- Placement and finishing of concrete to ramps and paving
- Installation of pre-cast flag paving
- Installation of fencing
- Operate hand tools and power equipment as necessary
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Requirements:
- CSCS Labourer Card as minimum - Blue Card or higher preferred
- Previous experience of groundworks
- Willingness to undertake various other aspects of construction and civils as required
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Good knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license preferred
Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate completion of tasks to high quality standards
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks
- Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely
