We are looking for a temporary Shop/warehouse assistant to work and look after our trade counter. You will store materials, pick, pack and scan orders and serve customers along with other duties that may arise. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Restocking Shelves (pack, label, store)
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with Manager and co-workers
- Serving Customers on the trade counter
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- communication Skills
- High school degree
- Good at math
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30hrs
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: £9.50ph 3 Month trial
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
