Building Transformation are a niche external building fabric access and maintenance company based in Bedford, working predominantly in the Southeast. We are looking for an experienced Roof Repair & Maintenance Engineer with experience of planned and reactive roofing works across a range of systems, including flat, felt, single-ply, and pitched roofs.

Your role at a glance:
This is a hands-on role where you’ll deliver high-quality roof maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a range of client sites.
You will:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a variety of roofing systems.

Diagnose and resolve roofing defects, leaks, and failures effectively.

Undertake roof inspections and condition surveys, recording findings clearly.

Complete general repairs including patching, sealing, flashing, and minor refurbishments.

Work safely at height using appropriate access equipment and in line with health & safety standards.

Communicate professionally with clients on-site, providing clear updates on work carried out.

Identify and report additional defects or opportunities for further works.

Maintain accurate job records, reports, and completion documentation.

Work closely with internal teams to support service delivery and follow-on work.

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience across multiple roofing systems (flat, pitched, single-ply, etc.)

Relevant health & safety or access certifications (e.g. Working at Height, PASMA, IPAF)
