Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant specialising in events to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, organisation, and coordination of events from inception to completion
- Manage scheduling and calendar arrangements for event-related activities
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, invitations, and promotional materials related to events
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems
- Handle phone enquiries with professional etiquette and provide prompt assistance to clients and vendors
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Manage inventory of event supplies and organise logistics as required
- Perform general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and organising documents
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Excellent typing speed with high accuracy for data entry tasks
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Previous administrative experience supporting event coordination or project management is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently within a team environment
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
