We are looking for a skilled and passionate Engine Builder to join our experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on rare and prestigious classic engines in a workshop dedicated to engineering excellence and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision assembly and rebuilding of classic and performance engines
- Inspection, measurement, and checking of engine components to exact tolerances
- Diagnosing engine faults and determining corrective work required
- Working closely with the machining department to ensure the highest build quality
- Blueprinting and preparation of engine components for assembly
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and attention to detail throughout the build process
- Collaborating with a small, highly skilled team passionate about classic engineering
About You
- Proven experience in engine building, engine reconditioning, or precision mechanical assembly
- Strong understanding of engine tolerances, clearances, and measurement techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Passion for classic, high-performance, or motorsport engines
- A strong work ethic and commitment to producing work of the highest standard
