Mobile Crane Operator

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.50–£17.50 per hour (dependent on experience) + overtime opportunities
Work Location: In person

Berry Cranes Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team based in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

We are a well-established mobile crane hire company carrying out lifting operations across a wide variety of projects, from commercial and construction sites through to infrastructure and specialist lifts.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across different sites and projects. We are looking for someone reliable, flexible and willing to be part of a small team where everyone pulls together when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe operation of mobile cranes in accordance with lift plans and site requirements
Daily crane and vehicle checks
Working alongside lift supervisors, slingers and site teams
Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
Supporting wider operational requirements where required
Representing the company professionally on customer sites

Requirements:

CPCS Mobile Crane Operator Card (A60) or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence with appropriate HGV entitlement (Class 2 / Category C minimum preferred)
Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Flexible attitude towards working hours, including early starts and overtime when required
Applicants must currently be based in the UK and already have the legal right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)

Desirable:

Additional qualifications such as Slinger Signaller or Lift Supervisor
Experience operating a variety of crane sizes
Knowledge of working across different site environments
