Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi Tradesman/woman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across multiple trades. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a broad skill set in building and renovation trades to contribute to diverse projects within our organisation. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to utilise and expand their technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work
Carry out roofing repairs and installations with attention to safety standards
Execute construction painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes
Conduct plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance in accordance with specifications
Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes
Apply electrical experience to assist with wiring, fixture installation, and troubleshooting
Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently across various tasks
Fabricate components or structures as required using appropriate techniques and materials
Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance or construction projects as directed

Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks
Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, or specifications is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
Relevant certifications or licences related to specific trades are advantageous but not mandatory
A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
