Job description
Heartwood Joinery are looking for a bench joiner/cabinet maker with a minimum of 4 yrs experience to join our team to assist with an ever increasing work load to make bespoke furniture for private and commercial customers. Regular projects include making kitchens, wardrobes, studies, bedroom furniture, and bespoke joinery items for high end interiors in London and the South East.
The right candidate should have good knowledge of all wood working machinery/ power tools and able to confidently read technical drawings. Be able to work solo and within a team.
The projects often involve installing at a site address so the work isn't always workshop based and you will get to see your work fitted into place.
Requirements
- Proven experience in High-end Cabinet Making.
- Proficiency with Machinery, hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and cabinet making
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling processes
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately
- Physical fitness suitable for working on-site for extended periods
- Spray finishing skills (airless air-assisted) an advantage.
