Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and confident nail technician to join our busy salon in the heart of Darwen. Our ideal candidate will have a passion in the beauty sector and possess excellent customer service skills.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include;

- Providing various nail treatments, including gel and BIAB application, acrylic extensions and manicure services.

- Qualifications in advanced beauty, such as eyelash extensions, makeup application and brow services are also accepted to be practiced but not necessary.

- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in salon.

- Keeping up to date on nail/beauty trends and techniques.

- Handling customer inquiries and appointments efficiently, through our online system and phone line.

- Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Description and benefits

We are a busy footed salon located in Darwen town centre. With a large client base already, we provide the perfect opportunity for those looking to build up clientele within their own or start a new client base. We are a friendly team with a mix of specialities, ready to welcome a new member to join us!

This position may be accepted on a self employed or employed contract with full and part time hours both available. Qualifications at a minimum of level two beauty and experience in the sector are preferred, for self employed rented contracts these are necessary alongside previous work references. Rates of pay are open to increase on a commissioned basis.

Your own desk and workspace storage are provided, alongside colours and selected stock. Including self employed positions, colours are shared amongst staff members.

Applications shall be open for a four week period and starting times may be discussed in person depending on the contract status.
