Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Front of House Waiting Staff to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and contribute to a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and maintaining sanitation standards. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. Candidates should be comfortable with food handling, cash handling, and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and billing purposes
- Experience with serving, upselling, and cash handling preferred
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific duties
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
