Overview
We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our nursing team.
Ideally you will work around 24-36 hours a week, between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The post holder will be responsible for the care and management of delivering nursing services to our patients and day to day management of our team of nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomist.

- Support the practice in achieving quality indicators and targets for QOF, LES/DES, IIF and GMS services
- Provide long term condition reviews
- Provide simple wound and complex dressings service
- Contraception/pill checks and support our woman health clinics
- Smears
- Infection Control

- Write and review protocols
- Monitor emails, workflow and tasks
- Maintain your own professional development

Essential Skills/Qualifications
- RGN diploma/degree
- NMC registration
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
- Knowledge of SystmOne clinical system
Overview of organisation
Probus Surgery is a well-established Primary Care business offering NHS services to our local population, with a population of circa 9500 patients. Probus is our main surgery, with branch sites at The Merlin Centre and Tregony. Our clinical team consists of GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Dispensers, Care Co-Ordinators, Social Prescribers, Receptionists and Admin.

Pay: £19.44-£24.00 per hour
