Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking vigilant and professional Door Staff to ensure the safety and security of our premises and patrons. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, maintaining a safe environment, and providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in upholding the safety standards of our venue while delivering a welcoming experience for all visitors. All positions are paid, and require a proactive approach to security and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access
Enforce loss prevention policies by observing suspicious behaviour and intervening when necessary
Provide assistance to patrons, including managing queues and offering directions or information
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid if required
Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorised access or disruptive behaviour
Record incident reports accurately and report any security concerns to management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualification

First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
Valid SIA license essential
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert over extended periods
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
