Full job description

This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll help keep the practice running smoothly and make improvements along the way. You’ll manage client payrolls, handle company secretarial filings, and oversee the internal processes that keep everything on track.

There’s also the opportunity to get involved in business development, from supporting client onboarding to shaping new services and helping the practice grow.

What You’ll Do

Run and oversee client payroll for over 80 clients using BrightPay, ensuring accuracy and compliance with PAYE, CIS, RTI and auto-enrolment.
Administer workplace pensions and support clients with their legal duties.
Prepare and submit Companies House filings.
Coordinate internal processes and administrative tasks to keep the practice organised and efficient.
Monitor and manage client deadlines.
Work closely with the team to maintain quality and improve how we operate as the firm continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years’ experience in a payroll or practice management role, ideally within an accountancy practice.
A good understanding of payroll legislation and company secretarial processes.
Highly organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience with BrightPay payroll software is desirable

Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year
