Overview
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional mobile tyre fitting services at customer locations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
This role involves travelling to homes, workplaces, roadside locations, and fleet customers to carry out tyre fitting, repairs, and maintenance services. In addition to tyre-related duties, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the company service van, ensuring all tools, equipment, and stock are kept in excellent working condition and that routine vehicle checks are carried out regularly.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to provide mobile tyre fitting, replacement, and repair services.
- Remove and replace tyres safely using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Inspect tyres, wheels, and related components for wear, damage, or defects.
- Balance and fit tyres correctly in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out puncture repairs where appropriate.
- Provide customers with professional advice regarding tyre condition and replacement requirements.
- Complete job records and service documentation accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional company image at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and industry standards.
Vehicle & Equipment Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure the company van is kept clean, organised, and presentable.
- Maintain tyre fitting equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are stored safely and securely.
Assist with arranging routine servicing, MOTs, and repairs for the company vehicle when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter, Mobile Tyre Fitter, Tyre Technician, or similar automotive role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tyre fitting procedures.
- Experience using tyre fitting machines, balancing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
- Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift and handle tyres and equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
