The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an Accounts Assistant as part of our Rental Accounts Team

As an Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:

· Monitor and process rental income, ensuring all payments are recorded accurately and on time.

· Monitor rent arrears, chasing tenants and updating Landlords accordingly·

· Liaise with clients regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies via email and telephone

· Issuing monthly rental statements to Landlord's

· Processing and paying contractor invoices

· Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all rental transactions are accurately recorded.

· Ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all time

The Person:

This is a fast-paced role in a busy department so the ideal candidate should possess the following skills.

· A previous basic background in accounts, ideally in property accounts but not essential

· Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

· Ability to manage time well skills and prioritise tasks effectively

· Excellent customer service and communication skill

Hours: Part time - 30 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-3.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch

Salary - £25,000 per annum pro rata (£20,000 actual)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £20,000.00 per year
