Full job description

Job Overview
With the introduction of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/tax advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the personal tax clients of the practice, ensuring the following duties are fulfilled;

Duties

Ensuring the tax returns for the practice are all completed with the support of the team
Completing tax returns for individuals
Completing Making tax digital returns as required
Advise Clients on Making Tax Digital and relevant software
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Clearbooks
Assisting and supporting junior members of the team
Reviewing the work of the junior members of the team
Working with management team to distribute work across the team

Skills

Experience using various accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage,
Strong understanding of individual taxation
Minimum of 5 years practice accountancy experience
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Qualifications Required (Part Qualified / Qualified):

· AAT/ATT qualification

Based in Scunthorpe. Salary will be dependent on the level of experience of the candidate, therefore a starting salary has been included.

This role can either be part or full time dependent on the candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
