Job Description

True Care Training Ltd is currently recruiting Associate Clinical Trainers to work with us on a Freelance basis. We are seeking high quality trainers who can deliver short training courses in Clinical topics in Adult Social Care settings. The training is ‘face to face’ with learner groups, typically for staff in Care and Nursing Homes.

N.B. Trainers will need to be based in the South-West of England (Cornwall, Devon or Somerset)

About us:

TrueCare Training Ltd is a South West England based training provider offering courses in First Aid, Fire Safety, Moving and Handling, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Clinical topics, as well as other legislative and occupational training. We work predominantly in the Care and Education sectors but can provide high quality training to any employer.

About you:

· You must be self-employed or have a business

· You must hold a training/teaching qualification (see table of examples)

· You must have experience in delivering the desired training courses

· A driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential

· You must have a DBS check and relevant insurance in place

· You are required to have your own specialist equipment to deliver training e.g. Venepuncture Training Arm and also standard equipment such as a laptop, printer, projector.

· Experience of working in the Adult Social Care Sector is preferred

Qualifications, etc

· Qualified Nurse, e.g. Having successfully completed a Nursing Degree Course (Essential)

· Have a valid PIN number issued by the NMC to practice nursing (Essential)

· Teaching and/or training qualification (Essential)

· Recent experience of delivering training in clinical topics e.g. Venepuncture, Catheterisation, Verification of Death and Syringe Driver (Essential)

· Driving Licence (Essential)

· Health and Social Care industry experience (Preferred)

Qualified Nurse
