OTE up to £6000 per annum in Sales Bonus

Tile & Bathroom Mountain recently launched a brand-new showroom in a prime location in Plymouth, with a huge selection of Tiles, Tiling products and Bathrooms on display to view, all at incredibly competitive prices.

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and support our existing staff at our fantastic new store. The role involves delivering exceptional results and providing outstanding service to our customers, helping us maintain our position as the number one retailer in the UK. While experience in the tile or bathroom industry would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full product knowledge training will be provided.

You’ll be part of a small in-store team whose number one goal is to get to the heart of what customers need for their project. Be it new suggestions for a bathroom or tile revamp, a huge trade order for commercial premises, or recommendations for add on products - you’ll understand what customers are looking for and offer solutions that fit their requirements.

Typical tasks include:

Greeting and liaising with customers when they enter the store
Providing information and advice on products / product types
Assessing customers’ project needs and providing relevant advice and guidance
Dealing with requests for quotations
Understanding customer requirements and suggesting products that suit
Taking orders and processing payments
Monitoring stock levels and advising on delivery
General housekeeping

Outstanding customer service skills
Previous customer-facing retail experience
Ability to engage and inspire customers
Confident and professional manner in dealing with a variety of different customer situations
Ability to work under own initiative
Flexibility to cover store opening hours including weekends (and work in alternative locations if required).

Standard hours of work are:

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00 with 1 hour lunch

Saturday (on a Rota basis with 1 day off in the week) 09:00 – 17:00

Sunday (on a Rota basis with 1 day off in the week) 10:00 - 16:00

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,436.80 per year
