Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Yard Operative to join our team in Duxford. Based at our facility, this role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehousing activities and supports our mission of reliable service and safety excellence.
Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload goods.
Manage materials handling tasks in the warehouse environment.
Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report repairs.
Support shipping and receiving processes.
Maintain a clean and organized yard area.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
Mechanical aptitude or basic repair skills are a plus.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math skills for inventory counts.
