Pretty Pawsome is a well-established and thriving dog grooming business. Our Wirral salon is set in a peaceful farm environment, in Thurstaston. We attract clients not only locally but also much further afield due to our exceptional high standards of service and dog-centered approach.
Due to a high demand for appointments, we are thrilled to announce we have full or part-time positions available for a qualified and experienced dog groomer to join our friendly & professional team
Candidates must have the following:
- Expertise and knowledge in all aspects of grooming, with the ability to groom/style a wide variety of breeds
- Excellent customer service skills, timekeeping, and professionalism
- Have a creative flare and great attention to detail
- Recognised UK qualification (OCN, City & Guilds, or ICMG) Level 2 or 3
- Minimum 2 years salon experience
We have part-time positions or 1 full-time position available, 2-5 days per week including weekends, with additional hours available to cover staff holidays and during the busy festive period.
Salary varies dependent upon age, experience and skill level.

Job role:
- Complete 4-5 dogs per day independently or more with a prepper
- Have a passion for animals and their general well-being/welfare
- Be trustworthy, professional and able to maintain our salons excellent reputation and presentation
- Groom to a high standard with a greater understanding of animal welfare being a priority
- Work well as part of a team and independently, with the ability to use your own initiative
- Have excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
- Have an excellent work ethic, punctuality and time-management skills
- Be enthusiastic and committed to CPD (Continual Professional Development)
- Take payments, make bookings, answer phone calls/text messages
- Support less experienced colleagues in their ongoing development.
