Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the organisation’s financial operations by managing accounts payable, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, utilising accounting software platforms Sage. Responsibilities

Process and verify invoices using accounting software - Sage 50
Manage accounts payable functions ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping
Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions with precision and efficiency
Reconcile accounts and prepare reports to support financial analysis
Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
Maintain organised records of financial documents in compliance with company policies
Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software Sage 50 is essential.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and data entry procedures
Experience in a finance or administrative role within the financial services sector is essential.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
