PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Support Cargo Manager UKI in the management of GHA and resources (internal and external) in the UK to deliver excellent customer service and achieve high operational efficiency while complying with regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Overall in charge of supervising operations to ensure safe and secure arrival and departure while adhering to company operations directives and compliance with local authority rules on flight operations.
· Oversee GHA to ensure sufficient staff are on duty to build cargo for flights as per agreed precision times.
· Ensure flight messaging is communicated to all up line and down line parties to plan for operations.
· Oversee GHA to ensure sufficient staff and resources are in place for timely receipt and dispatch of flights.
· Plan loads in conjunction with GHA to load cargo in safe and secure manner and plan for any special loading equipment if necessary.
· Monitor and plan for movement of ULD’s to maintain station stock is within station limits and an excess stock is returned to SIN.
· Use systems provided to monitor and correct ULD movement messages to maintain correct system records.
· Ensure that cargo daily flight operations function smoothly and efficiently with our GHA performing their roles within requirements.
· Provide customer service through accessing the reservations system and taking bookings to ensure compliance with company restrictions and embargos while delivering first class customer service.
· Prepare flight and truck plans for GHA to maximise flight uplift ensuring flight and ULD configurations are complied with.
· Liaise with import customers and GHA to ensure delivery of cargo product.
· Investigate and compile reports for customers and management including but not limited to handling reports.
· Follow up with all concerned parties on any discrepancies until resolution of file closure.
· Liaise with SIA and SIA GHA to plan for handling of special loads.
· Invoicing and payment controls for operational requirements.
· Be presentable and representative of the Company’s image at all times
· Assisting the Company with any other relevant tasks as and when required

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Operational experience at the airport
· Detailed knowledge UK aviation requirements, operations and especially of ground handling processes in relation to cargo handling and security
· Knowledge of Company procedures for flight operations
· Familiarity with SIN hub operations
· Proven problem-solving skills
