Part-time milker needed, average 15 hrs a week. Pay depending on experience.
We are looking for a reliable individual with milking experience to join the small team on our family-run dairy farm in Stoke St Gregory, near Taunton.
The role includes milking and parlour washdown and feeding a small number of calves.
Shifts are 6-9am and 4-6:30pm. Weekend working is on a 3-weekly rota, with one on, one split (2-shifts) and one off, though are happy to discuss alternatives if needed. We would ideally be looking for someone able to do around 3 weekday shifts per week as well.
We operate a closed herd of 80 pedigree cows plus youngstock, supplying milk to Arla and direct raw milk sales from the farm. The farm has been certified organic since 2001.
