Who we are looking for:
We are seeking to appoint an Accounts Clerk as part of our finance team to cover a period of maternity leave from September 2026.
The successful candidate will support the Senior Finance officer in running the day-to-day financial operations of the school and will undertake responsibilities such as raising purchase orders, petty cash, dealing with goods received and chasing outstanding orders.
The post is 37 hours per week, term time only
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline
- GCSEs grade C (or equivalent) in English and mathematics
- Excellent IT, numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of working effectively with others to meet common goals
- Excellent administrational and organisational skills
- A basic understanding of financial processes and procedures
