Full job description

Are you an organised, friendly, and customer-focussed individual looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? Moorhouse Care Home is a beautiful country house nestled in the heart of Hindhead, Surrey, is looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our caring team.

At Moorhouse, we are committed to delivering exceptional personalised care to our residents, while ensuring families feel respected, supported, and welcomed. As our Administrator, you will play a key role in making this happen.

What You’ll Do:

Be the warm, welcoming first point of contact for all visitors, calls, and emails
Manage general office duties and administrative tasks with efficiency and accuracy
Oversee financial elements such as scheduling monthly resident fees and logging fee changes
Handle and manage staff payroll in a timely and confidential manner
Maintain accurate data entry and record-keeping
Build positive relationships with residents and their families for ongoing communication and support
Occasionally work outside normal hours, as needed

What We’re Looking For:

A friendly, outgoing personality with strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Confidence in handling calls and correspondence with professionalism
Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of admin and finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
A team player with an empathetic approach to care
Previous experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential
Right to work in the UK
