Training Administrator / Co-Ordinator
11 - 5 pm Mon to Friday, permanent role
Salary quoted is based on 30 hours a week (working 11 til 5pm with a 15 min break each day)
Hybrid working - homeworking 2 or 3 days a week and 2 or 3 days in the office (Stevenage, Hertfordshire TBC)

This is a part time role that needs flexibility to help work occasional additional hours (mornings) to cover holidays when other team members are off.
Job role
We are a leading road transport consultancy, providing auditing, compliance and driver CPC training to transport operators across the UK and Europe. Due to continual business growth we are looking for an administrator to join our friendly, hardworking small team, working from home and going into an office or meeting place at least twice a week (Stevenage area - TBC).
Responsibilities will include:
- Represent and have responsibility for the general administration of the Milebay Training Centre.
- Follow processes to ensure training and events are scheduled, planned and delivered to Milebay and regulatory requirements.
- Work with our customers to identify their company driver training needs, and manage the booking from the start through to registering the completion of training.
- Ensure a trainer is fully prepared prior to a course and has been provided with all paperwork and information.
- Review training course documents to ensure they are correct and up to date.
- Set up delegates for training, review driver licences and ensure courses meet their training needs and requirements.
- Deal with internal and external calls, enquiries and bookings.
- Use external portals and platforms to record and register training.
- Manage documents and evidence provided by trainers certificates, insurances etc and complete and record checks to ensure documents meet requirements (e.g. qualifications, expiry dates etc).
- Manage the training department calendar to schedule reminders, expiry dates, courses and events, recording all details and keeping records up to date.
- Plan training and events to meet customer needs using organisational skills and ensuring cost effectiveness and professionalism is delivered by all representatives of Milebay.
- Build relationships with trainers and help them develop their PDP to upskill and grow Milebay’s training options.
- Keep up to date with company, JAUPT, DVSA and FORS and industry related news and legislation.
- Being flexible and willing to learn different areas of the business (beyond training) to help ensure we meet our service levels.
Requirements
- English GCSE grade C / level 4
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Enjoys planning, co-ordinating and scheduling
- Proactive, can work independently and on own using initiative
- Confident using a computer, experienced with Word (intermediate) PowerPoint (intermediate) and Excel (basic)
- Excellent communicator and telephone manner
- Enjoys building relationships and delivering consistently high standard of customer service
