Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Digger Dumper Driver to operate heavy machinery on construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely manoeuvring excavators and dumpers to facilitate efficient earthmoving operations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical equipment and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring projects are completed safely and on time.

Responsibilities

Operate diggers and dumpers with precision and adherence to safety protocols
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials across the site
Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal functioning and report any faults
Support site team in earthmoving tasks, including excavation and debris removal
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of equipment and work areas
Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on site

Requirements

Proven experience operating excavators and dumpers in a construction environment
Mechanical knowledge to identify basic faults and perform minor maintenance checks
Valid commercial driving licence suitable for operating heavy machinery
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
