Temporary Plants General Assistant
Location: Frosts Garden Centre Woburn Sands
Hours: Minimum 18 hours per week, including weekend working

The Role
This is a hands-on and varied role within our plants department. You will play a key part in ensuring our plant area is well-stocked, beautifully presented, and that every customer receives knowledgeable and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable advice to customers on plant care and selection
- Watering, pruning, deadheading, and general plant maintenance
- Assisting with deliveries, checking stock, and replenishing displays
- Maintaining high standards of visual presentation across the plant area
- Helping customers transport and load plants into their vehicles
- Supporting the wider team across the centre when required
- Operating tills and handling transactions accurately (if required)
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for plants and gardening
- Enjoys delivering excellent customer service
- Is proactive, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
- Is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Has good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is flexible and able to work alternate weekends
Previous plant knowledge or retail experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
