Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mould Remediation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, removing, and preventing mould growth in various environments. This role requires a proactive approach to health and safety, with a focus on delivering high-quality remediation services. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mould-affected areas using appropriate tools and techniques
- Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers and ensuring safety protocols are in place
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to remove mould-infested materials effectively
- Perform cleaning, sanitising, and treatment of affected surfaces using specialised equipment and solutions
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as sealing or repairing surfaces post-remediation
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and areas treated
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Clean and organise tools and equipment after each job to ensure readiness for subsequent tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, chemicals, and basic construction techniques
- Knowledge of mould growth patterns, remediation methods, and health & safety practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Relevant construction or environmental remediation experience is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undertake training related to mould removal procedures and safety protocols

Pay: £24,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
