Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate independently within our salon. As a self-employed professional, you will provide high-quality nail services to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build your own client base while working in a professional environment dedicated to beauty and personal care.
We have a nail desk available in our clinic, and would love to find a technician to join the team. Available Monday to Friday, plus weekends 8am to 8pm.
£100 per week Mon- Friday
£140 per week Monday to Sunday
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, gel nails, and nail art.
- Apply makeup services as required, enhancing clients’ natural beauty for special occasions or daily wear.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalised recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring punctuality and organisation throughout the day.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and professional demeanour.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, makeup application, and beauty techniques to offer innovative services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a portfolio of work demonstrating skill and creativity.
- Knowledge of makeup application techniques is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Strong communication skills to understand client preferences and explain treatments effectively.
- Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage your own schedule and client appointments.
- Professional attitude with a focus on hygiene, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Valid certification or licence for nail technician services (where applicable).
This role offers the flexibility of being self-employed while working within a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and creativity.
