About Us

Baby Boy’s Burgers is a local, award winning smash burger joint. Using only the freshest, local ingredients, we combine the team's knowledge and experience to create the best burgers around. We make all of our sauces and toppings in-house, and the team are really dedicated to giving our customers the best of the best! Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced chef to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation (even better if you have street food/burger experience), and either experience with, or an interest in, kitchen management/leadership. This role offers the oppurtunity to be creative in a professional environment, be part of a great team, all while providing a great service to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining high food safety standards, and providing great customer service. We're looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so if you're interested don't hesitate to get in touch!

Duties

Work alongside the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service
Prepare and serve a variety of menu items, while maintaining a high standard of service
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times
Be aware of inventory control and managing stock levels
Foster a positive team environment
Opportunity to collaborate with management on menu development and monthly specials
Maintain a clean and hygenic kitchen
Greet and serve customers in a friendly and warm manner
Some solo-work during quiet periods

Essential Skills

Proven experience in food production and kitchen operations within a hospitality setting
Strong leadership qualities
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good customer service and communication skills

Desirable Skills

Experience in kitchen management/supervision
Good knife skills
